Located on Temple Bar in the midst of the nightlife and chaos, stands the Quays Restaurant. Situated above a bar, and next door to The Old Mill Restaurant, this is another of my favourite places to eat in Dublin.

So what was on the menu.? I chose the Lamb shank this time which I have to say was up there with any lamb I have eaten in Greece. The meat was super soft, falling off of the bone, and was presented in a bowl filled with Irish Stew sauce. Accompanied by really lovely mash - you know how you typically get frozen re-heated mash that tastes like cardboard - well not here! This was like mash you get at home. Priced at around 20-25 euros, dinner is competitively priced and the menu is varied.
As the restaurant did not have a wine menu, we asked our server to choose a bottle of wine for us - he unfortunately chose a bottle of Pino Grigio which is not my favourite and was priced at around 40 euros so a little pricier than we had paid the day before at The Old Mill.

We did of course order the baileys cheesecake again for dessert and it was as delicious as it had been next door the day before. The menu is practically the same as at The Old Mill as they are directly next to each other. So if you cant get into one place, definitely try the other. The Quays has a slightly bigger seating area too and could accomodate big groups much more easily.
